YOU. ARE. LOVED.
Another Valentines Day has come upon us. It’s all around and you can’t help but notice. From media, couples you know (or not), etc. We’re bombarded with signs of love. For singles and even those in relationships, this time can be difficult. Instead of lamenting this year, I had an epiphany. Sure, I would love to have the man God chose for me, but at this very moment I don’t. And you know what? I’m okay. It hasn’t always been that way, Lord knows! 🙂 As I began to calm myself, realize God has my life under control, and His timing is perfect- I began to accept the rest of quiet He offers. To come to a place of relaxing in His presence and timing is no easy feat. Especially if you like control as I do.
Each passing day, He’s healing my heart. Telling me to leave my regrets in the past, embracing every new moment with faith and excitement. I never realized this place of being content with Him was possible. But, it is. I’ve finally given my heart to the One who knows how to take care of it. Think about it. When you give your heart to the Creator, the One who understands the complexities of you- you’re in the BEST hands. If you’re not there, I understand. Everyday, I have to choose to believe in what I don’t see, and grasp the hands of faith.
God is offering a remedy for anxious, confused, or sad hearts. His answer? Give Him what you have. He’s the best friend, keeper of hearts, and healer. He will love you like no other. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
